i have a 2.4.19-ltsp-1 kernal
with mounted devfs filsystem at /dev

however, when i do :
'devdir=devfs_mk_dir (NULL, "mydir" , NULL);'
it fails.

any idea ?

(and there is no /dev/mydir already)

Sanity check: is devfsd running properly?

how do i check that ?

Any idea what exactly goes wrong? Have you looked at the syslog output down to "debug" priority?

no output for devfs_mk_dir

cheers,

erez
