The issue here is not Oded's forum or our relationship with it it's if it's justified for a minister in Israel to fly over to Italy (I don't know what's worse - If the it's funded by my tax money or by microsoft) and preach about how microsoft was just wonderfull solving Israeli's goverment issues with "mimshal zamin" .
Whay should he go and advogate microsoft where the "battle" upon the goverment computing policies is one of the things that _do_ intrest hamakor (the way I understood it).

I speak for myself alone now - I don't think complaining loudly about it will be productive.
Now, I don't like this. I just think that changing things by educating people, and thus giving them the incentive to further "the cause" on their own is much more effective than forcing them by pulling rank (bagatz, hostile media, etc.). According to this, I would love to meet with Shitrit face2face, but I wouldn't go about shouting over the press.

I don't care about Oded's group I just think this is a place where we should at least state our opinion - if negating/complaining/protesting about this issue is our/hamakor's opinion.

I do. If I now ask to meet Shitrit about this, he is highly likely to say "no", because the difference between "Hamakor - Israeli Society for Free and Open Source Software", and "The Freedom to Choose Forum" is not immediatly obvious to people, and he already knows he has received bad press because of one of us.
