If the old switch was a 10mb switch then that could explain it.
I had a client who bought a new switch recently and had the same problem.
At the end we found that the problem was with the 10/100 ethernet card on the computer
and not the switch. It turns out it had trouble understanding what a 100mb full duplex
means since
something got messed up(old hardware and all) and it could not be set to 10mb. a quick
30nis
replacement did the trick.
So,.. its not a big problem, is it?
