Had the same motherboard. Gave me lots of trouble with Linux (specially AGP and DRI with Intel ExtremeGraphics 2), the computer was frozen from time to time (when switching from X to VT and back), sometimes the display will go blank when retrurning to X, and so on. I had to use 2.4.22-pre series of kernels or 2.5.7x (was available at the time) to get various components working (like the on board eepro100/1000 kernels lower than 2.4.22-pre couldn't use it). Hyper threading worked OK, just use an SMP enabled kernel. In the end, I've returned it, gave me too much grief, and bought a laptop instead. -- Meir Kriheli MKsoft systems http://www.mksoft.co.il ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
