Hi,

Seems to me that the beginning was in 1992, because I installed a
Slackware (from 30 5.25" floppies) on a 386 in October of 1993. It was
kernel v0.97 patch level 12.

The friend I got it from told me then that he's been at it for a year, so
I am pretty sure the first Linux's (I never learned what the proper plural
is - Linuxes? Linuces? Linuxi?) installed in Israel was in 1992.
