Modern KDE releases should work with hspell (release 0.5 or 0.6) out of
the box, if you just choose "hspell" in the appropriate menu.

Hspell 0.6 is also known to be supported by LyX, Geresh and Emacs (thanks to
Dekel Tsur and Mooffie for helping in this). You can find some screenshots
of Hspell being used in KMail, Geresh and Emacs in

        http://ivrix.org.il/projects/spell-checker/docs.html

Telling Emacs to use Hspell is somewhat tricky, though, and requires some
lisp configuration. Hopefully I'll publish this information (prepared by
Mooffie) on the Hspell site in a few days.
