Talking of offline access to various things, what would be the best way to read my IMAP mailbox offline? I.e. I want to cache the messages on my local computer. Ideally, I'd like Read bits to be set back on the real IMAP mailbox and twice-ideally I'd like to be able to move messages between folders amd have this applied to the server when I re-connect. Actually, without the later feature, the whole excercise is not worth it for me. I know, I'm asking for much :-).
I could in theory try to use Unison_ to synchronize my folders in maildir format, which sounds like it could work but somewhat awkward. I'm not sure I can get Unison installed on my university mailbox account, so an IMAP-specific tool would best. Is there any wondertool for this? . _Unison: http://www.cis.upenn.edu/~bcpierce/unison/ -- Beni Cherniavsky <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> The Three Laws of Copy-Protechnics: http://www.technion.ac.il/~cben/threelaws.html ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
