Doesn't help much, at least with the default distributions. The pwcx-i386.o module itself worked for me when insmod -f without any problems on several kernels. I also tested it on kernel 2.5.61 and it worked without a problem with insmod -f And yes, I know it's dangeous, but: 1. I don't have the source code, and Philips don't want to release the code (it's not theirs) 2. It gives me the BEST driver for my cam - almost all the features of this cam works (only the button on top of it doesn't, yet).
