Hello.

I'm having trouble installing an HP OfficeJet G85 printer (I don't need
its fax/scan capabilities to work for now). I followed the installation
instructions in hpoj.sf.net -- the HP OfficeJet linux driver project,
and the installation went OK according to the tests.
I'm using CUPS -- I added the printer to CUPS. At first I tried using HP
as maker, and either of the two HP DeskJet Series CUPS v1.1 models in
the list -- test page didn't print in both of them. Then I tried using
Raw as maker and as model, and the test page just sent a bunch of empty
pages. Then I tried leaving the raw make & model, share the printer via
Samba and try printing a test page from a Windows box using HP's Windows
driver -- and it failed to send the print job.
Anyone has a similar machine installed using CUPS that works? Or anyone
has ideas about what can I do to make it work?

Thanks.
