You're lucky I wasn't asked to choose - I would have chosen a Mexican
restaurant (now *there*'s so really dangerous food :))

While there's probably better Japanese food (which I was lucky enough to
taste on a trip to Japan a few years ago), Sushi isn't as terrible as
you depict it. It is does not look disgusting (you don't get to see raw
fish looking back at you), nor does it taste disgusting.

Unless you have some Kashrut reasons (I have no idea if sushi is considered
Kosher), why can't you taste it once and then make up your mind for yourself?

Of course, sushi in Israel might have other problems - like paying way to
much for way to little food.

I don't understand your comparison of sushi to Alcohol, Tobacco or other
"abolute poisons". Why do you consider sushi a poison???
