After installing my new MDK 9.0, I tested and was able to play CDs with KsCD
(using /dev/cdrom2).

However, I discovered that, as usual, after a standard Mandrake install, only
the CDRW (hdc) is set up with ide-scsi emulation which means that Eroster,
cdrecord, etc don't recognize the CD on hdd as a reader. So I added the
apropriate parameter to the GRUB boot-loader and to /etc/fstab. Now, I can
use the CD as a reader in Eroast, BUT KsCD no longer recognizes it :-(.

I played around for a while with the KsCD setup, but nothing helped
(/dev/cdrom, dev/scd1, dev/cdrom2, etc).

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong??

TIA
