10x everybody,
and to michael.
As suggested i've just set my hostname in main.cf to smtp.lycos.co.uk which is a
qualified host name. and i can send mail as usual. (not restricted to lycos.co.uk, it
works from any email address - valid of course).
by my reasoning its just petty business from the techinon, since everyone can repeat
the above procedure.
i.e. not adding to security at all.

p.s: if i didn't mention it, the technion server was t2.
