A mail server doesn't necessarily have to put the mail in the home directory. Some mail servers don't use home directories. Anyway, pam allows you to do quite a few things. There is a pam module called pam_mkhomedir . I never used it, But according to the pam documentation it seems to be just what you need (pam.txt or pam.html in the pam docs) -- Tzafrir Cohen mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.technion.ac.il/~tzafrir ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
