I respectfully disagree. I know a lot of *Good programmers* who do find work and even can choose between several offers, not to mention I did just this myself not so long ago. Ok, maybe the salary is a little lower and it take more time then before but you'll get there. What is very true however, is that now the difference between being a good programmer who can think and some guy that can click "Step" in a debugger, or does not know how to program at all but just to install and use existing software is much bigger then before. So there's no reason to spread doom and gloom.
