I released today a new version of my SendSMS script. http://nadav.harel.org.il/software/sendsms
The most important new feature is the ability for anyone, not just Cellcom owners, to send messages to Cellcom phones. For that you'll need to get an account from ICQ (see the manual page for more instructions; a normal ICQ number would do), *and* you'll need to make sure you have the Crypt-SSLeay perl library installed (on Redhat 8, for example, this is already included, as the perl-Crypt-SSLeay package) More detailed change log: * Newlines in messages now work in Orange.co.il * Can now send messages to Cellcom phones using ICQ's free web interface (requires either an ICQ number or free registration, but not a cellcom phone). Requires Crypt-SSLeay library for SSL. * sms.gt.com.ua no longer works, so support for it has been withdrawn. -- Nadav Har'El | Monday, Oct 28 2002, 22 Heshvan 5763 [EMAIL PROTECTED] |----------------------------------------- Phone: +972-53-245868, ICQ 13349191 |"I'll doublecross that bridge when I come http://nadav.harel.org.il |to it" (a politician about the future) ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
