1. A punch-down tool.

A punch down tool is used to insert the wires that are coming out of
a CAT5 cable into the proper places in a wall socket. Or so I am told.
In Hebrew it is called LOHETZ and it is a different tool then the one
that is used for crimping the RJ45 connectors into a CAT5 cable. In
particular I believe this tool will not work with stranded CAT5
cables, only with solid ones. I have a small picture of such a tool
which I will send privately for anyone who ask me to.

How messy it is to try a small screwdriver instead? Are there other
replacements when I only need 2 wall sockets?

Am I correct that the tool should matched the wall socket in the sense
that a 110 tool will not work with a Krone wall socket?

Is there anyone in the Tel-Aviv area who is willing to borrow me such
a tool for a couple of days.

  2. CAT5 solid cables.

Are there one or more people here that are willing to share with me
100 meters of CAT5 _solid_ cable? I believe this would cost $26. Not
sure if this price is with or without VAT. I don't mind buying it
here and sending to other people by mail, which I believe will cost
12.5 NIS, or having it the other way around. The shipment cost should
be divided by all participates, or that is what I think. An important
comment would be that I am not sure how to measure the parts of such
a cable that belong to the other participants. Since measuring
the other participants share doesn't sounds realistic (unless there
are many participants, which might make my share too small), is
doing it `according to the eye' and hoping that you were lucky
enough to get the largest piece the only way?

In case you were wondering, I want this cable to go between floors so
that I need it to get the shape of the path it is going through. Hence
the solid rather then stranded cable.
