And this one, brought from the top of my head, is not a good one,
because I guess that in realististic situation this would be done
through the preprocessor, or in some other way that affects the C code
directly.

In any case, I emphasize again that by no means am arguing against
ccache. I am just trying to understand the implications of using it
before I plunge in.
