So you can't give the installee a copy of the CD.

What does StarOffice has that OpenOffice doesn't (and people here *really*
need?). A good OpenOffice package by the distro (that will appear in the
menu in the proper places, etc.) would be a better idea.

A CD of the updates for Mandrake & Redhat (if 8.2/7.3 is chosen ).
'rpm -Fvh *' can generally be used for quick application of all the
secirity updates. *but this should be tested*.

("it would also be useful" to have such an easy-to-install KDE3 upgrade.
Or at least to copy all the required packages, for people who don't like
downloading some 200MB of packages)
