Not for the standard newbie (both of them) > Mandrake 8.2 9.0rc2 > ReadHat 7.2 7.3 > SuSe 8.0 (I know, commercial, so what ?) So you can't give the installee a copy of the CD. > StarOffice 6.0 (same here) What does StarOffice has that OpenOffice doesn't (and people here *really* need?). A good OpenOffice package by the distro (that will appear in the menu in the proper places, etc.) would be a better idea. > Varios soft and patches and etc. A CD of the updates for Mandrake & Redhat (if 8.2/7.3 is chosen ). 'rpm -Fvh *' can generally be used for quick application of all the secirity updates. *but this should be tested*. ("it would also be useful" to have such an easy-to-install KDE3 upgrade. Or at least to copy all the required packages, for people who don't like downloading some 200MB of packages) -- Tzafrir Cohen mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.technion.ac.il/~tzafrir ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
