Well, I have installed it and never saw ANY problem whatsoever and I actually liked it a lot.
The release I am talking about is cooker (rc2) and according to Mandrake it is one before final and mainly needed to test the upgrade process, not clean install, so you can safely assume that this is ok and too much bugged.
