Nothing is special about it (peek your favorite explanation):
- You can't acquire real Unix/Linux knowledge without
  learning a lot about computers, OS, compilers, tools...
- With Unix/Linux, unqualified people are quickly redirected 
  to /dev/null, with Windows they may end up with MCSE
  (Must Consult Someone Experienced)

You may notice that the first explanation is behavioristic, while
the second one is Darwinistic...
