During my last call to Netvision the support person listened to what I told him I saw in /var/log/messages, said that it was probably a problem with the phone line, suggested I should call Bezeq, and told me what Windows error this corresponded to so I would not confuse Bezeq support. He then suggested calling him back if Bezeq would not solve the problem. There was no need, he was right it was a problem with the line, and the Windows error code he provided came in handy.
