Regardless of if you want it or not, almost all Israeli computer users use Windows exclusively. It would be just more rightful to call those Linux support guys of Netvision "person, who MUST SUPPORT WINDOWS and MAY support Linux IN CASE OF NEED". And you know what? We may all make laugh of all those 'script support monkeys' and all such, but... I've tried several times to consult somebody fully Windows-literate but not so much Linux-literate, by phone, on issue of Linux, and it was hard as hell. > > Now imagine what a Linux person should do in that situation ..... Learn to support Windows. Or be unemployed. And I noticed something - those Linux persons from Netvision support tend to know Windows much better than their Linux - illiterate colleagues. > > Oleg. > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Alex Chudnovsky" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: "Israeli Linux Mailing List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Wednesday, September 18, 2002 4:59 AM > Subject: Re: Netvision, or I need a new ISP > > > On Tuesday 17 September 2002 14:41, Ariel Biener wrote: > > > > As for support - I called them few times at 3:00 AM and there was > > always > > > > > someone there.
