a quote from your signature bellow :

how's that applying, in any way, to you ?
it applies strictly to the recipient of the message, not the sender.

dont agree.
if its not written there speciphicly, it doest now apply.
there's no diference (according to that signature) between meesages that are 
sent privetly or to a public resource.

i think thats a good idea.
if this is not possible (for any reason) you might want to concider a public 
mail account for using this list (and others) such as yahoo and friends.
