Hi, I'm looking for an Open Source simple GIF editor (or icon editor) which is a Java applet, with the usual features (line drawing, text, colors, fill, etc.). I prefer one that its source is easy to understand and modify (I want to add a feature that allows the user to mark a glyph, and ask the editor to remove it and recover its estimated background according to an algorithm that I already designed).
If there are several answers, please recommend the one that best fits my needs.
