Eli, First - I don't know whats happening with your mailer - see how I get your message here in KMail (KDE CVS) - every other email looks ok here. (see your email below)
As for your question - from what I know it should be out tommorow if I'm not mistaken. I haven't finished my mailing war there (they make the KDE & GNOME with the same look and feel in every aspect - but what pisses me off is that instead of having KMail and Konqueror icons in the panel - you'll get Evolution and Mozilla. I know it takes 2 seconds to modify that, but I'm worried from the end users - 90% of them don't change anything from the default install, which means that they won't use Konqueror or Kmail). Changes in the upcoming RedHat: * LSB certified (adios United Linux) * GLIBC 2.2.9 * KDE 3.0.3, GNOME 2.0 (maybe 2.0.1 - donno) * forget locale - everything now in the default is utf-8 (which means - BUTT ugly fonts!) * every config is not redhat-config-something, so instead of Xconfigurator, it's not "redhat-config-xfree" and no, no symbolic links are provided.. * They added FirstBoot - so instead of doing your config of X in the installation (and setting up the mouse, keyboard, etc) - you'll do it after finishing booting the first time, which looks really nice. * GCC 3.2 which is not binary backward compatible with GCC 3.x * RPM 4.1.0 - which got better signature for RPMS, and --whatprovides gives you the RPM name that you need to install, so start hacking some scripts for auto install RPMS ;) * Everything is now anti aliased - for good or bad, depends on your view. * LPR/LPD seems to be deprecated in favour of CUPS. Its still there (LPD) but with intension to be removed. * Netscape 4.x - gone These are just some of the highlights of the upcoming RedHat. I would strongly suggest NOT to use it in a production enviroment!
