If you are already using the Parallel Port, then consider adding a second Parallel Port as a plug-in card (if your PC still has ISA slots). The dongle shall force the right voltage levels on the Parallel Port's pins. The dongle will allow user-selected values to be read from the Parallel Port, and you'll use a special program to read it (the program must be run as root to be able to obtain I/O privileges). --- Omer There is no IGLU Cabal.
