I bought a new optical mouse few days ago (Maxxtro), Replaced my old mouse with it while the machine is still working, and without configuring anything I could use my new mouse(Both mouses are PS2).
Yesterday I decided to give my machine a rest, and shut it down for the night. And when I turned it on in the morning I had a problem: when I call gpm or X the keyboard and the mouse stops responding, and I need to log remotely and kill the application using the mouse. This happen no matter which protocol I'm trying, and no matter which mouse is connected, or even when there is no mouse connected at all (my keyboard is PS2). I'm now using a serial mouse as the only solution... And now, before I'm sending my new motherboard for repair(Ohh no!!!). Does anyone have a better way to handle this? Thanks, -Amir. ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
