A. I was invited due to the fact that I'm dealing with Internet &
Computer law.
B. In such matters I usually represent the Israel Bar (Lishkat Orchei
Hadin) in this Knesset Committee. This shall also be the case in this
hearing also.
C. The Committee will be discussing several issues, only one of which is
Linux.
D. One is always wrong to believe that he knows all he should about
certain matters. I try to avoid such mistake. This is why I asked for
pointers. As an attorney, and out of respect to the Knesset, I try to be
as prepared as I can.
F. It will be a pleasure to meet in this hearing people from the Linux
community who can contribute. Surely, they are much knowledgeable than I
am in Linux.
