Well, it's not that. The fonts are available in every other application, like KWord and Mozilla. I use Arial, Courier New, Times New Roman. These certainly didn't come with the original Mandrake distribution, and it took me some pains to install them (drakfont has a bug). Are you sure you have them in the Font menu? If I type in the font name directly, it becomes available for the text I type. But I don't get it in the menu.
