I'm trying to instal the KDE 3.0.1 Mandrake 8.2 RPMs on my Mandrake 8.2
system which already has KDE 3.0.0 installed. The problem is that these
RPMs install everything under /usr/bin, /usr/lib/, /usr/share, etc.
instead of /opt like the KDE 3.0.0 RPMs.

I get a lot of errors whether I use urpmi or rpm and I'm afraid to use
--force.

Is it a known issue? What should I do?

Regards,

        Shlomi Fish
