Hi People, I've rebuilt the SAMBA RPMS with an addition to support the new KDE's SMB I/O slave - which appears in KDE CVS and will be on KDE 3.1 version - so use those RPMS ONLY if you're compiling KDE from CVS.
Those RPMS are not the official Samba RPMS since the patch (a 1 line patch actually) has not been merged into Samba 2.2.x version. With those RPMS, you can use Konqueror (in file manager mode) to browse, mount, read, write and delete files in the Samba shares. shortcuts that are allowed additionally are: smb:/ -> list the workgroups smb:/group -> list the hosts in this workgroup smb:/group/host -> list the shares of this host smb://host -> list the shares of this host.
