hi

axel is somthing like wget, but it supports download accelerations.

the files are the same size as on the web

it happened to me once that the file on the web (mirror) was errornous
so downloading again gave the same error.

i did have some locup problems of the my nfs server while downloading
and had to 'umount -f' it, so i had to restart axel and maybe that
caused the file corruption

I'm looking for a fast way to find where is the error in the file so i
can just fix that

regards
erez.
