Hi,

According to the KDE3.0 release plan, last week Friday, the RC1 should have
been released, however, there was no announcement on the KDE site. It can,
however, be found on some ftp sites (I looked at it at the Rutgers U. mirror,
in the US)

A previous thread pointed to some article that RC1 has been badly messed up
because of a fruitful but also bugful (some fruit attracts fruit flies I
guess ;-)) coding fest that many KDE developers joined.
In the mean time, no news has been released, and I wonder what's happening.

Anybody has more info on what's up KDE's sleeve? I wanted to install RC1
because of better Hebrew support than 2.2.2, but since the story about the
mess up and the lack of RH rpms (or any rpms, there were only gzipped or
bzip2ed packages on the FTP server) I decided to wait.

cheers,

Arie

he is already like this, such a man is no better than a vegetable.
