The system is mandrake 8.1, a self compiled kernel (2.4.17), with ext3 built in. / is on a ext3 partition. Did I forget something on the configuration? I do not see / on /etc/mtab. When I boot using a mandrake kernel, / is mounted as ext2 and I still do not see /. Any ideas? RTFM? Online articles? Mandrake patches?
