Recently I was made aware of several projects which aim to be a better CVS:
1. Subversion - http://subversion.tigris.org/ 2. BitKeeper - http://www.bitkeeper.com/ 3. Arch - http://www.regexps.com/#arch It seems that BK and Arch are distributed while Subversion is not. Also, I'm not sure whether BK supports the various better CVS features of Subversion like file moving and copying symbolic links, etc. Can anybody shed more light on the differences between these programs, and why we need all three?
