Hi,

is there any way to find out wether a user using X is idle (without using
a screen saver !). I need to be able to find out how much time ago the
mouse or keyboard was used,

Any ideas ?

The aim is to be able to monitor the usage of a Linux Kiosk (X server +
browser + fvwm95) that doesn't run any other programs because I start it
all manually from an init-script (e.g. w doesn't show this etc.).

Thanks,
Schlomo

PS: If I could get w to show correct info, this would be also good.
