Well, at least I'm not alone in this problem. After reading Hetz's answer, I
thought I'd upgrade to 2.2.2, but if Tal says this didn't solve the problem for
him, I guess I won't waste the time. He's describing exactly the same problem I
have.

The real question is - has anyone got Java working on Konqueror and if so how??

Strange that I couldn't find any references to Java and Konqueror not working
together, except for the one I quoted in my original post.
