Which makes me raise a question: are we going to see for the first time ever (or at least since Redhat 5) a Redhat release numbered *.3 (i.e., 7.3)? What I mean is, is there any chance that a new gcc will be stable enough in 2 months to be useful as the only compiler on a system (for compiling C, C++, kernels, and everything)? Because I doubt that Redhat will come out with 8.0 without being based on a new gcc. And according to my calculations (which might be flawed), a beta of the next Redhat should be out in about two months. P.S. Redhat just put vim 6 on its Redhat 7.2 updates directory - so everyone who asked about editing in unicode: this is your chance (if you're using Redhat 7.2, of course). -- Nadav Har'El | Tuesday, Jan 29 2002, 17 Shevat 5762 [EMAIL PROTECTED] |----------------------------------------- Phone: +972-53-245868, ICQ 13349191 |I am logged in, therefore I am. http://nadav.harel.org.il | ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
