Mandrake 8.2 will include KDE 2.2.2, not KDE 3.0 RedHat 8.0 will include KDE 3, new GLIBC, new GCC (3.1) and will not make binary compatible with older versions of RedHat 7.x, but of-course - will be able to load/run RH 7.x binaries.
