Hi, I'm trying to view DivX files on my Linux box (Mandrake 8.0, KDE 2.1.1, Nuaton 1.0.1).
I have installed KDE Media Player (From Nuatom.kde.org) which states in it's site that a DivX plugin exists and directed me to sourceforge (mpeglib.sourceforge.net) to download it. I downloaded the mpeglib_divxplugin-0.1.8.tar.gz and compiled it as instructed (./configure, make ..) but when it tried to link ld returned with an error saying : /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lcdda_paranoia I tried to install cdparanoia which changed nothing. I tried to search for a reference for lcdda_paranoia in the make files, maybe I can hack it, but didn't find anything (I do have libcdda_paranoia.so.0 and libcdda_paranoia.so.0.9.7).
