Pardon my ignorance, but thats for the insider testing program - you get in 
the insider program the Lindows OS with this "deal".

Excuse me, but this license agreement is not that change from ... for 
example.. RedHat beta program or Microsoft beta testing OS program - can u 
sign those for trying them at for related purposes? yes.

Ok, they call it "membership" fee - for this testing which you get on this 
"membership" the beta as well as the final version of it. In my book it looks 
ok to me. Maybe they took the wrong word and should have created it "beta 
testing participant"...

I'm still looking for a job, but what would my employee says about it? I'm 
beta testing an OS, thats it - what can he say? he of course can allow or 
reject any request of me to pay the $99 for the product.
