They'll probably change the root stuff, it took me 10 minutes to modify it to 
hack it to work on a standard user. Funny part was when I entered into 
tucows.netvision.net.il - I immediately got a new icon on my KDE desktop 
"free AOL" shortcut. - thats when using internet explorer.

Actually you might want to take a look at VMWare, it runs as ... root
