Hi People,

Well, I just finished 3 hours busting a hard disk here to install Lindows
preview here..

What can I say - lots of people will hate it (stanard user works as ROOT!),
but it's based on debian woody, so after installation you start playing a lot
with apt (you don't even get gcc!).

The installation is very cute and it's actually a very enhanced wine +
rebusted Corel Linux

But thats leave all of this crap behind us -- lets go to the issue I wanted
to write this email:

Open your browser and look at the following screenshot:
http://witch.dyndns.org/stuff/lindows3.png

Now - what you see is Lindows OS on 1 of my machine, running Word 2000 Hebrew
- and my resume.

As you can see - the resume renders perfectly but there is a font problem -
I'll submit this bug report about that (the same problem appear with Hebrew
sites on Internet Explorer on Lindows).

The other problem is to convince Wine to change the keyboard to Hebrew - as
it is its still thinking it's english even if I use xkb to switch to X hebrew
keyboard...

My question to you is - if they'll fix it - will you buy it? (it's $99 for
Lindows and there is a discount on volume licensing). I need to come with a
point to Lindows that if they'll add some work for that - they'll have more
customers...

The installation of Lindows was done by me from SCRATCH - no windows DLL's or
any other trick on the book.

Thanks,
Hetz
