It was /net up to and including 5.1, -net with 5.2. I did read the docs... Running the downloaded binary with -net (I re-installed completely) did not change anything. Running setup -net as root after that offered me to modify the installation but I didn't see anything relevant in the list of (installed) modules that was offered.
