KXICQ (version 2) supports ICQ v7 protocol while LICQ CVS (1.1.x) supports v8 
preliminary only - it sends icq though server MUCH better then the 1.0.x 
version and way faster! (and thanks to Ilya and others - hebrew support is 
great!)

Nadav - it also solves your problem - trust me, I had exactly the same 
problem.
