Hi all, I wanted to ask if there is support for linux power management for my thinkpad 755cx. by support i mean that i can: control the cpu speed to lower power consumtion like i have in my windows utility. hibernation. battery detection so the computer will automatically will understand it needs to go low on cpu speed and h.d sleeps after a determined minutes, suspend after a determined minutes, etc. the ability to shut off power to infrared pccards and docking station and serial ports.
all these abilities are available in my windows application, what are their equivalent on linux. 10x. p.s: its thinkpad 755cx, p75 540mb 24mb-ram, and a not so good battery (so u see why i am picky about the apm). * - * - * Tzahi Fadida [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fax (+1 Outside the US) 240-597-3213 * - * - * - * - * - * ================================================================To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
