a better solution is to install an anti-virus. One has to be crazy today using windows without an anti-virus. i.e: AVX or norton and trend-micro are pretty good. * - * - * Tzahi Fadida [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fax (+1 Outside the US) 240-597-3213 * - * - * - * - * - *

Yes, from to Nov 25 to Dec 2 I got 143 (!) copies of this virus, from this number of different people. Reminded me every day how good it is that I use Linux :) Unfortunately, around the same time vulnerabilities in ssh.com's ssh and wu-ftpd 2.6.1 reminded me that it's not always so great to use Linux... By the way, the "don't open the attached file" suggestion isn't very helpful with this specific worm, because unpatched Internet explorer before (and including, I think) IE 5.5 had a vulnerability which runs this attachment without asking you... Anyway, add the following to your procmailrc, and you'll never be bothered by this virus again... :0 BH: * 1^0 ^Z0gSPTNEI2YAPiu7YYJW5q94cmMWly6hsWNpffE virus Caught all 142 copies I got after the first one... -- Nadav Har'El | Wednesday, Dec 5 2001, 20 Kislev 5762 [EMAIL PROTECTED] |----------------------------------------- Phone: +972-53-245868, ICQ 13349191 |Creativity consists of coming up with http://nadav.harel.org.il |many ideas, not just that one great idea. ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] ================================================================To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
