A problem indeed You can try running: BIDITEXT_OPTIONS=TRACE_ANY biditext evolution You will notivce that biditext is consulted for strings in the menu and in the title line (if your LC_TIME is hebrew you'll have a hebrew date in the top line, and you'll see that it is biditext-ed). It seems that the bonobo components that display those parts (and are seperate processes) were spwaned from a process for which LD_PRELOAD=biditext.so wasn't set. This probably means that biditext will be problematic whereever bonobo is involved (at least biditext won't be needed on gtk2) The way I see it, you either have to set biditext for all of the bonobo components, or for none at all, but I'm no gnome expert. -- Tzafrir Cohen /"\ mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] \ / ASCII Ribbon Campaign Taub 229, 04-829-3942 X Against HTML Mail http://www.technion.ac.il/~tzafrir / \ ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
