regarding XawTV configuration for Matav - donno, I use Tevel, and their "Tevel Digital" sucks - it seems that they have problem with sending MPEG stream (sometimes its so bad that you get an error saying that your cable connection is not connected, sometimes it misses some streams - and Tevel knows about it).
