And backed by AT&T which gives it a strong back. In addition they seem certain they could pass it as a standard, so maybe next year we could see a Linux built on Cyclone. The thing is, aside from the low level stuff which OS are built on. For regular applications we already have Java, which is much better for applications all the way around, as much as safety is concerned. And last, at the site I sought the licensing information and got this: "Licensing: The files in the distribution come from a variety of sources and so come under a variety of licenses. Please see each file and directory for its licensing terms. ", which makes it a little bogus to me.
